A special game in loving memory of a special little boy...The Elgin Fraser Champions Cup is held annually to raise funds for charities supporting children with cancer. Come out and support our "future stars" and enjoy a great Novice Hockey game - Carleton Place Snipers vs. Stittsville Titans.

IIHF World Junior Hockey Championships Needs Volunteers !  
From December 26, 2008 to January 5, 2009 Ottawa will host the World for the IIHF World Junior Hockey Championships. Organizers are looking for 1500 volunteers to help run this event. Hockey Canada has set-up a web registration system for volunteers. Register to volunteer online at http://www.hockeycanada.ca/ottawa2009

Coaches/Managers: when you are the home team, Fax your game sheet to the applicable League Staticician within 3 days and enter the Game sheet records on-line within 3 days, in the LCMHL website www.lcmhl.ca .

Jamie Raycroft Memorial Golf Tournament  
Jamie Raycroft Memorial Banner The 9th annual Jamie Raycroft Memorial Golf Tournament was held Saturday June 7th 2008 at the Pakenham Highlands Golf course. The total raised was $8,700.00 bringing the total over 9 years to $65,800 donated to the Almonte Pakenham Minor Hockey Association to be applied towards the foundation's goal.

UPDATE: to LCMHL Motion: Fighting Majors  
LCMHL Motion A motion was passed by the LCMHL executive to add the following to the LCMHL Rules & Regulations, Section 11, Item D: "Further to the Code of Discipline set out by the ODMHA, the Lanark Carleton Hockey League shall impose additional game suspensions equal to the number of games administered by the ODMHA Code of Discipline for: fighting, instigator and aggressor penalties.
APMHA has made the decision to expand on this rule and make it applicable to all games, Regular Season, Playoff, Tournament and Exhibition.
